Summary:
Receive, store, load, ship, and cycle count products received from BAF suppliers and/or other BAF facilities.
Distribute products at the request of the plants and warehouses needing these items.
Complete job duties while working in a frozen warehouse environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Unload, load, ship, and properly store all ingredient, packaging, WIP, and add-back materials at the warehouse following established storage guidelines.
Communicate with Team Lead to ensure materials are stored and shipped on a first in first out basis.
Cycle count all ingredients, packaging, WIP, and add-back materials on a monthly cadence, or as requested by Team Lead.
Be proficient in the company ERP system to support the distribution of all materials within the area of responsibility.
Unload, move, store, and pick materials using scanners and proper functions in the ERP system.
Inspect and clean trailers in accordance with company, SQF, and other regulatory policies.
Load trailers in a manner which ensures product will arrive without damage and trailer will comply with state DOT weight regulations.
Evaluate delivery receipts to accurately receive all materials into the ERP system.
Actively participate in warehouse sanitation, GMP, PPE, and safety programs.
Properly perform and log forklift inspection each day.

Must maintain the highest standards of data management by creating consistent, reliable data which will ensure accuracy and in turn, maximize the use of data and confidence in decision making.
Proactively manage safety by ensuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations and internal Company policies.
Regularly complete behavior-based safety observations.
Ensure unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.
Must be able to work in a frozen warehouse environment.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Good computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs.
Must be proficient in operating a forklift and have forklift operator certification.
Flexible, and able to quickly adapt to changing work assignments.
Work safely and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Good interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
This position requires a high school graduate or equivalent, with at least two years of forklift and general warehouse experience.
ERP system software and Microsoft Office experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively, on a variety of levels, both orally and written.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this position are consistent with most frozen warehouse positions.
Must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
Frozen warehouse area.
This position requires the incumbent be able to perform duties safely, while under pressure, in a cold environment.
This position also requires the employee to understand, and help maintain, safety and regulatory systems associated with ammonia refrigeration units.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
