This position is responsible for overseeing all operations for a single retail store.
They are accountable for all employees and the amount of labor that is needed to run a successful operation.
The Store manager is also accountable for managing inventory by understanding all receiving and purchasing habits.
The Store Manager will primarily be focused on:
Customer Service Create a customer-focused culture and ensure exceptional customer service standards are met.
Address customer concerns and complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Greet and assist customers in the store and provide them with current promotions.
Handle any situations with customers that become escalated.
Staff Supervision & Training Ability to properly recruit, train, schedule, and supervise store employees.
Provide guidance and performance feedback on how to have exceptional customer service.
Ability to delegate any task effectively.
Ensure employees receive all the necessary and relevant training for services provided within the store.
Store Operations & Sales Overseeing all store operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure efficiency in opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control.
Review orders from all vendors, suppliers and approve or discontinue products.
Account and maintain accurate inventory for all product lines quarterly.
Confirm the ETA for all incoming orders to ensure enough employees are scheduled to help.
Monitor and manage store expenses, including labor costs, inventory costs, and operational expenses.
Ability to identify areas of improvement and take the necessary actions to and improve store procedures.
Upkeep and maintain facilities which includes, pumps, ice machines, A/C units, HVAC, soda machines, refrigerators, Deli appliances (Grease traps).
The preferred candidate for the Store Manager will have the following:
Strong verbal communication skills.
Able to learn company systems and processes.
Adheres to the company's values and ethical expectations.
Able to effectively multitask.
Strong customer service focus.
High integrity and ethics and trustworthy in cash management.
Basic math skills for accurately delivering change to customers, and inventory counts.
In some locations that sell alcohol, you must be at least 21 years old.
