Lot Assistant

Job Description
The Lot Assistant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service through customer and coworker interactions. This involves assisting customers, technicians, and sales team members as needed.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
â ¢ Follow all customer care standards
â ¢ Clean equipment as needed
â ¢ Organize lot, ensure area is clean and orderly
â ¢ Properly load and unload equipment for coworkers and customers
â ¢ Retrieve parts from outside vendors, and deliver parts to customers as required
â ¢ Assist service team with maintenance of equipment
â ¢ Adhere to good housekeeping and contamination control standards
â ¢ Unload and load freight trucks properly and secure loads
â ¢ Maintain a clean company truck and trailer
â ¢ Respect, advocate, and follow workplace safety requirements
â ¢ Accomplish training and participate with the companyâ  s strategic programs and projects
â ¢ Follow and promote the companyâ  s vision, mission, and values
â ¢ Complete the work above in accordance with company policies, guidelines, and procedures
â ¢ Other job related and non-specific job related functions as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
â ¢ Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others through teamwork
â ¢ Ability to work overtime with short notice
â ¢ Consistent attendance is essential
Education and Experience
â ¢ Proof of high school diploma of General Education Degree (GED)
â ¢ Proof of driverâ  s license and acceptable driving record
â ¢ Previous experience working with Ag Equipment preferred.
â ¢ Must be able to communicate (speak, read, write, and comprehend English)
Physical Characteristics
â ¢ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
â ¢ Must be able to accomplish any of the following for long periods of time: sit, walk, stand, climb stairs; reach, lean, twist with product/equipment; push and pull product/equipment
â ¢ Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies
â ¢ Note: exposure to extreme fumes, extreme temperatures, high noise level, and dirt

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
