The position requires an experienced professional with knowledge regarding concepts, theories, practices, procedures, and processes with an emphasis on project management and engineering concepts. Work often involves knowledge, specialization, and the application and creation of new or unique approaches pertaining to Design Engineering related Project Management projects.
What will you do?
Provide overall Design Engineering leadership as it relates to Capital Project Management. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, including outside contractors. Project responsibilities include cost estimates, project spending, and project timelines.
Provide leadership, management, and support for complex projects, considering a variety of solutions.
Represent the Engineering team in outside discussions or technical forums.
Maintain responsibility for cost and time estimates on a variety of projects. Accountable for Projects to be completed within budgets and timelines.
Issues verbal and written communications to Plant, Maintenance and Production management to report project results. Maintain coordination and update supervisor on activities and progress.
CAD experience, Maintenance experience and PE are desired.
What do you need?
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and a minimum of seven years of experience.
Capital project management experience including financial Justification, budget management, timeline management and construction management.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
This position is located just outside of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Situated along the Snake River at the western edge of the world-famous Rocky Mountains, Idaho Falls has all the features of big city living, but still embraces a small-town charm. Our skyline consists of the majestic Teton Mountain Range, and in our backyard is the world's most famous park - Yellowstone.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
